About Terry R Newman, RDN, LLC
Terry R Newman, RDN, LLC is a Nutrition Consultant with private practice in Manasquan, NJ. Terry has over 30 years of experience in the field of Nutrition & Dietetics. Terry attended The University of Delaware and received a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition & Dietetics. She has been a Registered Dietitian since 1986. She received Certificate of Recognition as a Recongnized Young Dietitian of the Year in 1997 by New Jersey Dietetic Association &The American Dietetic Association.
Terry has worked in a variety of healthcare and community settings. She provides individualized and group nutritional counseling and education for all ages.
Why RD or RDN? RD's/RDN's are considered food and nutrition experts and are the only professionals recognized nationally by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). RD's & RDN's must complete a bachelor's degree & intensive supervised training from an accredited school. They must then pass a national exam & do ongoing continuing education to maintain registration status.
